Wine Spectator's Awards of Excellence for 2009 and 2010

For the second year running New York’s Wine Spectator Magazine has given Kania Lodge an Award of Excellence for its wine list. The magazine describes it as “one of the most outstanding restaurant lists in the world.” You can enjoy any of the more than 250 wines on the list with fine, original food in our restaurant or outdoor terrace which overlooks the lodge’s own vineyard.

Winemaker’s dinner

Award-winning Bouchard Finlayson is one of South Africa’s top wineries, producing great whites and stunning Pinot Noirs. We’ll have Karen Davison from Bouchard Finlayson with us on Wednesday, September 15 (not Tuesday, 14th as we’ve written before), for a winemaker’s dinner at which we’ll be serving lamb from the farm along with five Bouchard Finlayson wines, including the celebrated Galpin Peak Pinot Noir. The three-course dinner with wines is 145 zł per person and if you want to stay overnight all accommodation is half price.
