Kania Lodge near Gdańsk in Poland is a world-class small boutique hotel with outstanding facilities for a romantic weekend, family break or company retreat.
Set in landscaped gardens and a vineyard in beautiful, unspoilt countryside with lake and forest views, it is less than an hour’s drive from the Tri-City of Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia and just 20 km from Gdańsk airport.
Its 15 stylish rooms including two bedroom family suites as well as a secluded luxury private cottage are all individually designed and furnished to high standards. Some have private terraces, others wood-burning stoves in addition to the standard central heating. All have lake views.

In addition to the facilities offered at the lodge itself, there are many nearby attractions. It is possible to cycle or walk for hours along forest trails without being disturbed by cars and with occasional glimpses of deer, foxes, hares and the rare red kite, Kania in Polish, after which the lodge is named. There are horse riding facilities too within 15 minutes of the lodge.
For golfers there are three courses within 40 minutes of the lodge, one just 20 minutes away, and plenty to do for those looking to explore the area. The old city of Gdańsk is 45 minutes away while both the Baltic Coast and Teutonic brick castle at Malbork, the largest brick castle in all of Europe, are just over an hour’s drive.
There can be few better places in Poland – or indeed Europe – for a small top level conference and companies from as far away as the United States have chosen us for their meetings. We can meet guests at the airport or train station and arrange other tours and meetings both on and off site.
The lodge’s fully equipped conference room seats up to 30 and has broadband internet connection. There are special prices for one-day off site meetings which include the conference room and equipment, refreshments and lunch in the lodge’s dining room.
For conference groups wishing to stay overnight the lodge offers special rates for its luxury rooms. Wine tastings are complimentary for groups and we can also arrange many other on-site activities ranging from outdoor team-building exercises during the day to professional dance tuition in the evenings.
