Kania Lodge near Gdańsk in Poland is a boutique lodge set in landscaped gardens and a vineyard in beautiful countryside with lake and forest views. It is less than an hour’s drive from the tri-city of Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia and just 20 km from Gdańsk airport.

The lodge’s 16 stylish rooms and suites include several with two bedrooms as well as a luxury private villa. All are individually designed and furnished. Some have private terraces, others have fireplaces or wood-burning stoves. All have lake views.

Amenities include tennis court, private jetty and small beach, boats, bicycles, sauna, conference room and broadband internet connection.

The lodge’s highly praised kitchen serves imaginatively prepared dishes from fresh, and wherever possible, local ingredients – like our signature lamb dishes from sheep reared on our own farm. “Fantastic food,” says the hotel and restaurant guide Gault&Millau. "A magical place".

The lodge’s wine list has more than 250 wines from a dozen different countries with vintages going back two decades. The New York Wine Spectator has described it as “one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world.”

We also offer guests the opportunity to taste wine from our own vineyard and to sample the rye and potato vodkas we produce and export to clients as well known as the Ritz in Paris and Claridges in London.

In addition to the facilities offered at the lodge itself, there are many nearby attractions. There are good walking and cycling paths in surrounding forests and horse riding facilities within 15 minutes of the lodge.

For golfers there are three courses within 40 minutes of the lodge, one just 20 minutes away, and plenty to do for those looking to explore the area. The old city of Gdańsk is 45 minutes by car while both the Baltic Coast and Teutonic castle at Malbork, the largest brick castle in all of Europe, are just over an hour’s drive.
